With a video surveillance system, Puebla reinforces security on highway 150D

With the goal of strengthening surveillance efforts and deterring crime, the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) has completed the first phase of installing video surveillance cameras along Highway 150D.

As announced by the Secretary of Public Security, Vice Admiral Francisco Sánchez González, 30 Intelligent Monitoring Points (PMIs) have been activated, comprising a total of 116 video devices with pan, tilt, real-time tracking capabilities and connection to the C5i command center.

In addition, the PMIs are equipped with panic buttons that facilitate immediate response to emergencies and feature self-sustaining infrastructure, powered by solar panels and wind energy systems, ensuring continuous connectivity and operation.

The technological network, strategically installed along the Amozoc-Esperanza section, strengthens surveillance efforts by federal, state, and municipal forces, as well as combating cargo theft and vehicle theft.

The State Government, headed by Alejandro Armenta Mier, in coordination with the national security strategy, led by the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, is strengthening surveillance on the main roads of the state and promoting the use of technology for crime prevention, for the benefit of the people of Puebla.
