PUEBLA.- Ten black bags with human remains were found during the early hours and morning of this Wednesday in Amozoc, municipality of Puebla. Three of the bags were located near the Chachapa Recreational Park and five more next to the town’s pantheon.

The discovery occurs just three days after an armed group shot at people who were in a riding school of the San Miguel Canoa municipality of Puebla, killing seven people and wounding one more.

Along with the bags located this Wednesday there were messages signed by criminal gangs that operate in Amozoc, a municipality that has territorial limits with Acajete and Tepeaca, both belonging to the Red Triangle of Huachicol.

Ministerial sources unofficially reported that seven plastic bags with human remains were discovered at dawn on the corner of the road to San Lorenzo and the dirt road that leads to the pantheon.

During the morning, three other bags were found on one side of the pantheon, which generated a widespread mobilization of the police forces in Amozoc, municipalities governed by Mario de la Rosa Romero, who was elected for the 2018-2021 triennium and was re-elected by Morena for the period 2021-2024.

In this same municipality last June, an armed attack was recorded at the Pinochos bar, located on the Puebla-Tehuacán federal highway, resulting in five deaths and the kidnapping of a woman named Beatriz Calleja Lezama, who days later was found dead.

From October 1 to 24, 63 people were murdered in Puebla, according to the daily report of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) of the federal government.
