In recent hours, the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), with support from the Mexican Navy (SEMAR) and the State Attorney General’s Office, arrested four men linked to “La Blanca” and/or “La Güera” and/or “La Jefota,” an alleged operator for the criminal group known as “La Familia Michoacana.”
The detainees are: Jesús Alberto N., 19 years old; Fernando N., alias “El F,” 21 years old; Roberto Carlos N., 23 years old; and Christian N., alias “El Güero,” 31 years old, from Chicoloapan, State of Mexico, and Mexico City. These individuals allegedly operated under the orders of Nayeli N., alias “La Blanca” and/or “La Güera” and/or “La Jefota,” who was also arrested by security forces.
Based on intelligence work, it is known that the now-detained individuals also operated in the Jorge Murad Macluf, La Victoria, and Morelos markets. Furthermore, they are allegedly linked to acts of intimidation or threats against business owners, extortion, drug trafficking, illegal possession of firearms, and kidnapping.
To avoid capture, the four men identified themselves as business owners from the 10 de Mayo neighborhood; however, among their belongings were an AK-47 assault rifle, ammunition, cell phones, packets of drugs, and a vehicle.
The Government of the State of Puebla urges business owners to report any type of illicit activity to law enforcement or to the anonymous tip line 089.
