Puebla welcomes the minds that are transforming the world at the Festival of Ideas, Espíritu Inconforme, a space for the dissemination of ideas and knowledge that has positioned itself as the most important in Latin America, created by Grupo Salinas and the Ricardo B. Salinas Pliego Center.
Thousands of attendees enjoyed presentations by prominent figures such as Mstyslav Chernov, Nuseir Yassin, Tilly Lockey, and of course, Mexican Sergio “Checo” Pérez, who shook the Metropolitan Auditorium by telling his life story and the obstacles he had to overcome to become one of the most important figures in global motorsports.
This afternoon and tomorrow, the Festival will continue with prominent guests such as Mexican director and writer Alfonso Cuarón, who will talk about how to bring ideas to life on screen; musician and composer Nacho Cano; Bitcoin expert Robert Breedlove; and James Clear, author of the best-selling book “Atomic Habits,” among many others.
Topics such as freedom, creativity, inclusion, art, health, education, innovation, leadership, and economics will continue to be discussed in this great forum, whose mission is to transform the minds of those willing to broaden their worldview.
The Festival of Ideas exemplifies the Ricardo B. Salinas Pliego Center’s deep commitment to the dissemination of ideas that lead to inclusive well-being and prosperity. It is a meeting of enjoyment and reflection that brings the public together with relevant figures in culture, education, technology, and science. It is a dynamic and purposeful space where the public finds inspiration to achieve their goals.
“The Festival of Ideas in Puebla should be a model for other festivals around the world. Civilizations need it,” Neil Degrasse Tyson
