Puebla received more than eight thousand migrants deported from the United States in 11 months

From January to November 2025, the state of Puebla received 8,706 migrants deported from the United States. This number represented the forced return of up to 26 people from Puebla per day during the aforementioned period.

Information provided by the Mexican government specifies that 85.69 percent of the returns, corresponding to 7,460 cases, are men.

Meanwhile, 14.51 percent of the migrants deported from the United States to Puebla, equivalent to 1,246, are women.

It is also noteworthy that all municipalities within the state of Puebla registered the arrival of residents who had been living in the neighboring country.

However, 18 of these municipalities account for more than 100 deportations and represent 43.79 percent of the total documented by state and federal authorities.

Nationally, the Mexican government recorded 144,061 deportations of Mexican nationals to the country.

The majority, with 129,370 cases, are men, while women accounted for 14,691 returns.

Most of the migrants deported from the United States are from Puebla City.
According to the Federal Government, most of the migrants from Puebla deported from the United States were born in Puebla City.

Between January and November of last year, 1,065 people returned, of whom 918 were men and 147 were women.

Next is the municipality of Tehuacán, which received 422 migrants; 350 were men and only 72 were women.

The third municipality in Puebla with the most returns from January to November of last year is Atlixco, with 243 cases. He received 197 male and 46 female migrants from the United States.

The Federation’s data places Huauchinango in fourth place, after receiving 216 migrants: 188 men and 28 women.

Tecamachalco ranks fifth, after the return of 166 people; 147 are men and 19 are women.

Regarding the other municipalities in Puebla that received over one hundred migrant workers between January and November 2025, the Mexican government listed the following:
