Puebla seeks to strengthen local businesses through the Dreamfields Electronic Music Festival and the 360 ​​Christmas Forum

Two events will ignite the artistic, cultural, and economic spirit of the state of Puebla: the Dreamfields Electronic Music Festival and the 360 ​​Christmas Forum. These events, held in November and December respectively, not only delight thousands with art and music but also strengthen local micro, small, and medium-sized businesses with a significant economic boost.

From November 15 to 16, Puebla will vibrate with the energy of Dreamfields, a festival that brings together more than 120 international artists at Los Fuertes Park. More than 60,000 attendees from Mexico and around the world are expected, who will experience a unique musical event in a vibrant and global atmosphere. This large-scale cultural event generates more than 1,500 jobs and an estimated revenue of 200 million pesos, reaffirming the transformative power of culture and entertainment, announced the Governor of the State of Puebla, Alejandro Armenta.

He emphasized that these events promote inclusive tourism and benefit all sectors, especially small business owners and artisans, who represent 80 percent of employment in Puebla.

At a press conference, where he was accompanied by the Secretary of Tourism Development, Carla López-Malo; the Executive Director of Conventions and Parks, Michelle Talavera Herrera; the Secretary of Arts and Culture, Alejandra Pacheco; and Alexa Heredia Spinoso, head of the Puebla State Government’s representative office in Mexico City, the governor stressed that he leads an inclusive government. Therefore, this year the first edition of the 360 ​​Christmas Forum will be held from Saturday, December 5th to Sunday, December 21st, designed for all residents of Puebla and those who wish to visit.

Michelle Talavera Herrera, executive director of Conventions and Parks, specified that the 360 ​​Christmas Forum will feature various artistic performances, including Espinoza Paz, Belanova, Pandora, and Pequeños Musical, among others. She estimated that more than 40,000 people are expected to attend, generating an economic impact of over 40 million pesos.

In her remarks, Carla López-Malo, Secretary of Tourism Development, stated that Puebla has received more than 16 million visitors through October, representing a 6 percent increase compared to 2024 and an economic impact exceeding 17 billion pesos.

With Dreamfields and the 360 ​​Christmas Forum, Puebla proudly positions itself on the world cultural map, merging music, art, and tradition, while strengthening its local economy through sustainable and participatory tourism.

Alejandra Pacheco, Secretary of Arts and Culture, announced that the sixth edition of the Dreamfields electronic music festival, which was unable to take place in Guadalajara, will be held on November 15th and 16th in the Los Fuertes area of ​​Puebla.

“For the end of the year, our biggest event is the Dreamfields electronic music festival, and we will be announcing it in the coming days, in conjunction with the Federal Government.”

She explained that seven stages will be set up in Los Fuertes Park, featuring different subgenres of electronic music to suit all tastes.

The 2025 theme is The Power of Imagination, which appeals to hope, love, and unity to inspire attendees to create and dream.

Dreamfields is a large-scale electronic music festival with a significant cultural and economic impact, combining music, technology, and experience to transform Puebla into a national and international benchmark for the genre.

This event will feature more than 120 national and international artists, including renowned DJs such as Steve Aoki, Charlotte de Witte, and Meduza. The festival is characterized by a high-tech production with multiple stages, laser light shows, pyrotechnics, as well as food areas and VIP spaces.

“It’s a festival for the people of Puebla. We will be giving away tickets at our venue, specifically at the Casa de Cultura (House of Culture), the tourism and economy building, and at the convention center and parks. It is an 18+ event for security reasons, as a large crowd is expected. We will have visitors from several countries, such as Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, and Brazil, to name a few.”

He indicated that “Puebla was chosen as a hub for the event, so we reached out to the organizers and some of the artists involved, fostering this synergy, and we reached an agreement to include local artists from Puebla, such as La Huesuda.”

He reiterated that the expected economic impact is enormous, even though the state invested 23 million pesos, in addition to the amount from the private sector, since the festival has a cost of 3 million dollars, around 60 million pesos.
