Cabinet Coordinator José Luis García Parra explained yesterday, April 3, in a press conference that license plate holders are not restricted by any of the agencies that regulate vehicular traffic in the state, such as the Ministry of Planning, Finance, and Administration (SPFA), the Ministry of Public Security (SSP), or the Ministry of Mobility and Transportation (SMT).

“The use of license plate holders to hold metal plates that display vehicle license plates is not prohibited in the state of Puebla.”

These devices can prevent the Traffic Monitoring System (TFS) cameras from correctly recording license plate numbers, which is punishable by state law.
