This Tuesday, February 25, the governor of Tlaxcala, Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros, and the mayor of Puebla, Alejandro Armenta Mier, inaugurated the Puebla-Tlaxcala Interchange, an important work located on the Puebla-Tlaxcala highway, in the area of Cuautlancingo and Coronango, where the Outlet shopping center is located, which directly benefits the inhabitants of municipalities in the south of Tlaxcala such as Zacatelco, Xicohtzinco, Panzacola and Papalotla.
The infrastructure located in the Outlet area will improve mobility and reduce congestion on the Ecological Peripheral Ring, and with it motorists can now access the bridge that was repaired to avoid a maneuver that involved driving up to the Outlet to join the highway towards Tlaxcala.
During the inauguration of this strategic work, the state leaders agreed on the importance of coordinated work for the benefit and promotion of the development of both entities.
Also known as Central de Abastos, projected 27 years ago as a private investment market, it will be ready in 2026
Prior to cutting the ribbon of the work, a few meters from the distributor, the governor of Tlaxcala, Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros, recognized the work done by the former governor of Puebla, Sergio Salomón Céspedes Peregrina, who at the time and with great empathy heeded the call of the citizens of Puebla and Tlaxcala to improve the road infrastructure in the border area.
I am excited to share this moment with two great friends: Sergio Salomón Céspedes Peregrina and Alejandro Armenta Mier, who have led Puebla with passion and commitment. It is a great pleasure to attend the inauguration of the Puebla-Tlaxcala Road Distributor, an emblematic work of the Puebla government that undoubtedly also benefits Tlaxcala

The building recovered after 27 years of abandonment will be “a door” to commerce for producers of the entity, say authorities
He highlighted the benefit of this work, pointing out that every day hundreds of people travel from Tlaxcala to Puebla, students, people who go to their jobs, those who go to the states to carry out daily activities and who will now have a time saving of almost 20 minutes.
“Puebla and Tlaxcala are more united today… this work will benefit thousands of people who travel daily between our states, it undoubtedly reminds us that development has no borders and that when we work together, well-being and opportunities multiply for everyone,” he said.
2024, the year with the lowest crime rate for Tlaxcala
The strengthening of corporations and the implementation of strategies have allowed it to be ranked for 28 months as the entity with the least crimes, highlights Cuéllar
He added that the project is based on a vision of shared prosperity and supported by Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier, who is committed to the transformative force of social infrastructure as a source of prosperity and daily well-being for thousands of families.
Meanwhile, the governor of Puebla, Alejandro Armenta Mier, asserted that it is a work initiated by the administration prior to his, proposed during the government transition, which is of utmost importance because it unites Tlaxcala with Puebla and Puebla with Tlaxcala.
They balance the costs of infractions and will prioritize the passage of pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists to avoid putting their physical integrity at risk
For us, in the Fourth Transformation, the most important thing is to convey to Mexicans that in all projects we go hand in hand with President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, we have said so during these 74 days that we have been in the government of 2,191 that the six-year term lasts and we are counting them because we do not want to lose our footing, we have to stay up to the social expectation that elected us
He considered that the event of this magnitude carries with it a very clear message given by the governor of Tlaxcala and that it has to do with the vision that the president of Mexico has for some of those who betrayed the country by handing over the people’s resources.
