Choosing a new mobile device has become a task that should not be taken lightly. Well, cell phones are a vital extension of our lives. With them we keep in touch with our loved ones and capture special moments of our day to day.

However, the rapid innovation of these devices means that their useful life is limited. And that consequently we have to look for options to replace them. Due to this trend, the Federal Consumer Attorney’s Office (PROFECO) has carried out a style to determine which are the best cell phones available on the market.

The study was based on the best features, price and quality. Included in the list were many devices that might be considered ‘cruddy’ at first glance but proved to have exceptional performance and durability.

Profeco carried out the study on medium and high-end devices, not only on the latest generation equipment, but also on previous versions that proved to offer a balance between price and quality.

In the list of high-end phones as the best equipment, the following options came out with good scores:

iPhone 14: It is a device with a price ranging from 15 to 21 thousand pesos. This Apple model is an attractive option for those looking for exceptional performance and a brand with consolidated prestige.

Samsung Galaxy S22: Galaxy S22 is the best value for money option from the South Korean manufacturer. This equipment is around 14,000 to 25,000 pesos and stands out for its power and screen with FullHD+ and a 108MP camera.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4: This device is an amazing option. Its price is around 17 thousand pesos and guarantees incredible performance.

Despite the fact that the Profeco study took some high-end devices as an example. The test did not stop and analyzed some mid-range devices, prominent among which are the following models;

Motorola Edge 30: With a price that varies between 5,800 and 7,500 pesos, this company-unlocked phone offers a solid balance between functionality and price.
