The accident occurred around eight o’clock at night on Friday, March 15, at door 3 of the Volkswagen assembly plant; on the lanes heading to the Puebla state capital
A tractor-trailer with a white and yellow cab invaded the opposite lane and hit a white truck, with Liqui Moly logos. The same one that ended up destroyed at the front.
Immediately, the 911 emergency number received several calls reporting the accident and requesting the help of emergency personnel. Unofficial information indicates that the driver of the tractor-trailer escaped.
Civil Protection (PC) agents from Cuautlancingo and Puebla, Urban Rescue staff and paramedics from the Red Cross, as well as State Police personnel, attended the scene.
Emergency personnel reported that the two people traveling in the truck on the Mexico-Puebla highway no longer had vital signs. They had been pressed.
The rescuers used hydraulic tools to remove parts of the vehicle and thereby free the bodies.
Personnel from the Road Security and Proximity Area began with the procedures for the removal of the bodies.
